SCHOOL COMMUNITY
Global Montessori is a dynamic, community-based, learning environment. Teachers deliver programs as a team. Effective communication, mutual support, and respectful relationships among teachers and students are keys to the success of our programs.
We foster the growth of the ‘whole’ child as we direct our attention on their physical, emotional, spiritual, social and cognitive development. The environments are designed to evolve and meet the ever-changing needs of the students. Teachers develop respectful relationships with the students and seek to cultivate a strong collaboration between family, child and school to support the best interests of each student.
OUR UNIQUE PROGRAMS
School programs are based on the Montessori Method of Education to guide students to their full potential in a thriving and joyful learning environment. The programs are child-centred and provide hands-on, discovery-based experiences.
THE COMMUNITY
Global Montessori School is in Langley, a city an hour away from Downtown Vancouver and the US border. The city is family-friendly and a perfect fit for individuals that prefer a blend of country and urban lifestyles.
Residents of Langley enjoy four-season weather, which allows for an active lifestyle. There are opportunities to enjoy a range of activities from hiking, biking, sailing, skiing, horseback riding, to attending festivals year-round.

Salary and Benefits
Global Montessori School teachers may earn between $35,000 to $50,000 annually. Staff also receive medical benefits, personal and professional development leave days, reduced tuition fees for children, and financial support with tenure.
Application Requirements
Please apply with a copy of your resume, cover letter, and copy of your BC Independent Teaching Certificate (BCITC). If you haven’t received your BCITC yet, please include documentation supporting an application has been submitted to the Teacher Regulation Branch.
