Culture
The Okanagan is perfect for those who love outdoor culture, and it is easy to spend an afternoon, a day, even a weekend touring the region’s vineyards, golfing world-class courses, and sampling from the bountiful orchards. In the winter months, some of the best skiing in the province happens right here, and with a dusting of snow the scenery is picture perfect. The region is also home to UBC Okanagan, a top University located in the city of Kelowna.
Lifestyle
Like much of the province, outdoor activities abound in the Okanagan. One popular summer activity is houseboating, a pastime perfectly suited to Shuswap Lake and its 400 km of shoreline. In the winter, Revelstoke provides heli and cat skiing, and some of the best backcountry terrain in the province for you to revel in. With four distinct seasons there’s plenty of time to golf, ski, sunbathe, hike, bike, and more!
