If you're searching for fulfilling teaching opportunities in a beautiful province, British Columbia is where you should be looking. Virtual career fairs are taking place across Canada, and BC's public school districts and independent schools are attending events over the next few months. Virtual career fairs are excellent opportunities to connect with recruiters across British Columbia and to learn about the teaching opportunities available now and in the new year.
Upcoming fairs are organized by various Canadian post-secondary institutions and private organizations like ApplyToEducation, and you'll likely have to register to attend. Make a Future's team will also be attending these events to provide teachers like you with information about the job application process, how to obtain a BC teaching certificate, and where opportunities exist.
Today, there are currently 460 teacher job postings on www.makeafuture.ca with opportunities in BC's public school districts, independent schools, First Nations schools, and BC-certified offshore schools. These are full-time, part-time, and on-call roles at all grade levels from primary to Adult Education. There are also teaching opportunities for specialists in French immersion, Montessori education, Waldorf Education, outdoor education, indigenous education, technology trades, and more.
